STUDENTS V. TEACHERS

Some students tend to have a mentality that teachers do not do anything. Everything is always piled up on the students because teachers hate them. As a College Professor I can assure that this is not so. Especially not when writing a test on law. In the bankruptcy law section I included a few bankruptcy questions. Once the students were able answer all of those correctly then I figured they knew enough information to begin their process of becoming a bankruptcy lawyer. Most of my students did well. However I have one student that is extremely brilliant, but he failed this test considerably. I am having trouble failing him because I am having a hard time believing this is really his test. He has never gotten anything wrong, and of all things to fail, the bankruptcy questions!? I decided to take this matter to higher authorities, which at that point the College Board let me in on the little secret that the school is about to be forced to declare bankruptcy. All my previous problems left my mind; I now had a new focus. Immediately I began getting the entire inside scoop and tried piecing together the puzzle. As I pondered the situation I handed the college dean my answer sheet of the test. He began reading the bankruptcy questions, a few moments into it he let out a squeal of delight. It seemed that something I had written down had helped him figure out a solution to his problem. The school is not planning on declaring bankruptcy anymore! Oh, and by the way, that student took a retake and passed with a fleeting one hundred percent!
