COLLEGE ECONOMICS COURSE

When I was in college, I took this really tough economics course where I had to write a paper about Chapter 13 bankruptcy. Chapter 13 is different from other types of bankruptcy in that you make a plan to repay all your creditors within a 3 to 5 year time period, which depends on how much you owe, what you earn, and how much you currently have saved. I did a lot of research on Chapter 13 so that I could get everything right. I scanned the net for hours and hours looking for information and even went to the library to look through some books. I even interviewed my Uncle Thomas who had actually filed for Chapter 13 a few years ago. The paper ended up being 8 pages long with a bibliography at the end. It took me a month to do all the research and then 10 days to actually write and revise the whole thing. And for all the work I put into that paper, I only got a B-. I knew the teacher was a tough grader and that the course was hard, especially when you’re majoring in art. Still, I thought I’d get at least an A- on this with all the effort I went through for it.
