Education in the United States

I was asking my friend a lot of question today, like, what is Lasik? She just got the procedure done and now I'm just really curious about it. I'm interested in in now because I never really got used to wearing these contacts and I definitely know I don't want to go back to wearing glasses. She doesn't have to worry about either thing now. It must be so nice! I'm waiting for my parents to come back home so I can ask them some questions about it and see if they know anything. Anyways, it was good that we got a chance to catch up. I got to ask her a bunch of other questions that I've been dying to get some answers to. Like, I had wondered who that handsome guy was that I've seen walking with her after her classes. She was telling me the teacher paired them off to work on a project for one of her classes and they've pretty much been inseparable ever since. She said they're not dating, but she said she thinks he's going to bring up the topic soon. She said there were a couple of moments where it seemed like he was going to bring up something more serious in their conversations and then he got pretty shy and changed the subject. I was excited for her! I wish I had a relationship that I could get that excited about at the moment. Sigh!
